Zen Sanctuary: Residential Lounge Conversion

This project reimagines a traditional residential room as an immersive Japanese-style lounge, focusing on the interplay of proportion, material, and light to craft a tranquil escape. The design centers on spatial verticality, utilizing a dual-level stepped platform to distinguish social and relaxation zones, fostering a sense of ritual. Inspired by the Ruriko-in temple, the custom "Fake Door" feature integrates traditional shoji aesthetics with modern projection technology, acting as a dynamic portal that brings external scenery indoors. Every detail, from the rich wood textures to the tailored layout for eight, is curated to deliver a "bone-deep" aesthetic experience that harmonizes contemporary functionality with Eastern philosophy. Japanese-Inspired Multi-Functional Lounge A deep architectural reimagining of a residential space, designed to blend traditional aesthetics with modern functionality. Spatial Hierarchy: The two-tier stepped wooden platform creates a distinct architectural separation between social and private lounging areas. Integrated Technology: The custom "Fake Door" design merges traditional sliding door aesthetics with digital projection, transforming the room with immersive, customizable vistas. Material Harmony: A refined palette of walnut-stained wood and artisanal details ensures the space remains warm, comfortable, and sophisticated for group gatherings. 静谧之境 — 日式禅意休息室 本项目旨在将传统的住宅空间重构为一处沉浸式的日式休息空间，通过对比例、材质与光的深刻理解，营造出远离喧嚣的静谧氛围。设计核心在于对空间垂直维度的重新定义，我们通过引入双层阶梯式的抬高木质地台，巧妙地将社交与放松区域与原有地面进行物理与心理上的分隔，增强了空间的仪式感。在视觉呈现上，我们汲取了京都琉璃光院的灵感，将传统“障子”门的设计概念与现代投影技术相结合。定制的日式推拉木门不仅是视觉焦点，更成为了一个虚拟窗口，通过投影功能将室外景色或自定义意境引入室内。从温润的胡桃木纹理到兼顾8人社交的空间布局，每一个细节均致力于构建一种平衡现代生活需求与东方审美哲学的“骨子里的”美学体验。 日式多功能休息空间改造 这是一次对住宅功能的深度重塑，旨在打造一处融合传统美学与现代功能的日式社交空间。 空间叙事： 通过双阶梯抬高的木地板设计，打造了极具层次感的空间结构，将社交与休闲功能自然区隔。 光影科技： 创新性地运用投影技术结合定制“伪门”（Fake Door）设计，不仅向经典日式建筑致敬，更将光影变幻引入室内，创造出如画卷般的沉浸式视野。 匠心材质： 选用了胡桃木色木饰面与精致的日式木雕，平衡了空间的冷暖色调，在确保8人社交功能的同时，依然保持舒适、私密的休息氛围。
